In 2009 Thomas was in college while managing a juice shop when someone asked him, ‘What are you doing with all your money? Why don’t you buy a house?’ So despite his father’s advice against it, he bought his first house. It took 6 months and 20 offers written before an offer was accepted on a fixer upper in an up-and-coming neighborhood.
Thomas fell in love with real estate and learned valuable lessons through the process. So in 2011 he joined a small brokerage focused primarily on flips. He interned at the office and obtained his real estate license. Soon after, the real estate market started to slow and flips started becoming less prevalent. After a couple of years and another house purchase, he went to work for a top-producing brokerage. It was there he learned more about writing contracts and protecting the interests of clients. Most importantly, he learned that fostering relationships with people and putting the needs of the client first are the keys to a successful real estate career.
In January of 2019, Thomas joined Jill Giese & Associates where he serves as Executive Assistant, managing the office behind-the-scenes and ensuring all aspects of the client experience are as smooth as possible. Thomas is able to combine his passion for real estate with his ability to problem solve while helping people with their life’s biggest purchases every day.
