July 28th is a day that is near and dear to our hearts and we want to share it with you!
World Conservation Day is all about showing our love and appreciation for the incredible wonders of nature. From mountains to oceans, rainforests to deserts, our planet is bursting with beauty. Protecting that beauty isn’t as complicated as it seems, and it starts at home.
Here are a few simple ways we can make a big difference:
- Remember the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Embrace eco-friendly habits by reducing waste, reusing whenever possible, and recycling like a boss.
- Plant power: Plant a tree, grow some flowers, or start your own mini-garden. Every plant helps create oxygen and provides a cozy home for our little critter friends.
- Say no to plastic: Plastic is so last season! Ditch the single-use plastic and opt for reusable alternatives.
- Visit a thrift store: Boise is home to many amazing thrift stores. Not only is thrifting wallet-friendly, but it’s eco-friendly as well!
- Explore and appreciate: Lace up your boots, grab your binoculars, and embark on an adventure in nature. Explore the great outdoors and soak up all the natural wonders. Just don't forget to take lots of photos!
Together, we can make a difference and ensure that future generations get to experience the magic of our incredible planet.
Happy World Conservation Day, everyone!
Warmly,
Jill & Team
