Today we’re celebrating National Napping Day! Did you ever ‘spring forward’ only to feel like you did so after drinking a bunch of whiskey? Feeling a bit hungover is our body’s reaction to shifting the external clock suddenly.
Celebrated the day after the return of daylight savings time, National Napping Day recognizes our need for some additional sleep to make up for the time change.
Studies show that 10-20 minute naps are the most effective and will help you to be more productive and energetic during the day. So if you call and we don’t answer right away, we’ll likely call you back 20 minutes later. ;)
Any holiday celebrating more sleep is a great one as far as we’re concerned!
