This week we’re celebrating 'International Pooper Scooper Week'! Yep, you read that right, there’s a holiday for everything.
'International Pooper Scooper Week' is the first week of April each year and its purpose is to educate pet owners on the importance of cleaning up after their dogs.
Jill takes this doodie duty seriously and voluntarily picks up OPDP (other people’s dog’s poop) on the foothills trails near her house in the North End. She got started because it irritated her that people didn’t pick up after their dogs. But people are a hard problem to solve, litter is not. Her solution, just pick it up!
So what can you do to get in on the action? It’s simple:
Join Jill in the foothills — If you're up for an adventure, tag along with Jill as she tackles errant poop piles on the trails.
Spread the Scoop — Share the scoop on Pooper Scooper Week with your friends, family, and neighbors. Let them know it's cool to be a poop-picker-upper and that every little bit helps.
Get Scooping — Whether you're a pet owner or not, grab a bag and pick up just one pile. Jill’s picked up thousands so she knows you can do it.
Have Fun — Remember, Pooper Scooper Week isn't all about poop; it's about community, camaraderie, and maybe a little bit of silliness.
So, there you have it, folks. 'International Pooper Scooper Week' is here, and Jill is leading the charge in the foothills. Get ready to scoop a little and make a big difference in your community. Let's do this!
Warmly,
Michael
