Which reminds us that we need to remind you … spring starts in January! The spring selling market, that is.
Often sellers tell us they want to ‘wait until spring’ to sell. Sometimes it’s because they’ve heard that’s the best time of year and sometimes it’s because they think their yard will look better then. 
However, we encourage our clients to list as early in the year as possible. This is because January and February are the months with the fewest number of homes on the market, which means less competition for you! Plus, right after the holidays, buyers are ready for a change so they start looking. And if your house is one of the few on the market, it has a great chance of selling quickly and for a good price.
Plus, your yard only needs to look better than the other houses listed when you are!
